Operation Bust Out

The “Santa Barbara Sister Cities “and “Rotary Club of Santa Barbara North” clubs are  proud to offer a special summer opportunity for community children, while looking to raise funds for the Puerto Vallarta Sister City Food Bank project.  “Operation Bust Out” celebrates a safe and measured “bust out” of confinement, while “busting out” some cool moves!  In an effort to  help feed families in our Sister City in crisis , free baton twirling & dance class sessions are being offered  under the COVID-19 guidelines of Santa Barbara County.  Donations are very welcome, and optional!  Batons supplied for participants to borrow during class.  All classes will be taught by nationally renowned  instructor Yvonne Pedersen, who was the director of the well-respected California Golden Girls Baton Corps of Santa  Barbara for 30 years.  This project is an opportunity to serve our community’s children, while at the same time, helping out our Sister City in dire need… a win-win for all!
