Set in the grand ballrooms and country estates of Imperial Russia, Eugene Onegin tells the tale of a young aristocrat who allows his arrogance to cost him everything. Tchaikovsky’s lush music propels Alexander Pushkin’s compelling story. Maestro Valéry Ryvkin returns to conduct and Ensemble Theatre’s Jonathan Fox directs. Company favorites Karin Wolverton and Lee Poulis return as Tatiana and Onegin. Legendary bass-baritone Samuel Ramey sings Prince Gremin.
