Santa Barbara native Tom O’Brien will lead the workshop. Tom is the founder of Rupa Meditation and is very grateful to have recently celebrated 32 years of sobriety. Tom has been facilitating meditation workshops for business executives, legal and medical professionals, educators, students, families, and incarcerated individuals for 30 years.
Tom is a graduate of Crane Country Day School, the Thacher School and Wesleyan University (where he graduated with highest departmental honors). His work with prisoners took him, “upriver” many times to facilitate programs at the infamous maximum-security prison, Sing Sing, which is located on the Hudson River in Ossining, NY.
If you plan to attend, please RSVP to rupameditation@gmail.com or text (805) 453-8965, so that the necessary logistical arrangements may be made. All contact information will be kept strictly confidential.
