Noah’s Anchorage Youth Runaway & Crisis Shelter Invites the Community to an Open House

Noah’s Anchorage Youth Runaway & Crisis Shelter is thrilled to announce an upcoming Community Open House, inviting everyone to explore our facility, meet our dedicated staff team, and discover how we are making a positive impact on the lives of local community youth who are facing challenges like housing insecurity and personal crisis.
This event will provide a unique opportunity for the public to tour our recently updated facility, made possible by the incredible generosity of the Whimsie Fund. Attendees will have the chance to witness firsthand the meaningful improvements that have been made to our shelter; designed to better serve the needs of young people facing crises in our community.

During the open house, guests will be able to interact with our experienced staff team, learn about the vital services we offer, and gain insight into the positive impact the Channel Islands YMCA Noah’s Anchorage is making on the lives of local youth. We encourage attendees to ask questions, engage in meaningful conversations, and gain a deeper understanding of the crucial role Noah’s Anchorage plays in our community.
Whether you’re a concerned parent, community member, youth in need of resources, former client, donor, or simply interested in getting involved and supporting our cause, this open house is the perfect opportunity to connect with us and learn more about our mission.
Noah’s Anchorage Youth Runaway & Crisis Shelter has been providing a safe haven for at-risk youth for over 20 years, thanks to the support of our community. We look forward to welcoming you on September 16th and sharing our vision for a brighter future for the youth of Santa Barbara.

About Noah’s Anchorage Youth Runaway & Crisis Shelter:
Noah’s Anchorage is a Community Care Licensed Youth Homelessness Prevention Center. At Noah’s Anchorage we provide a welcoming and supportive environment for youth ages 12-17 who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, have runaway, or are in an unsafe situation. All youth who come to Noah’s have access to healthy meals, warm showers and hygiene supplies, clothing, and a supportive adult. Both residential and non-residential services are intended to support physical, educational, and social-emotional well-being.
