On March 12th, residents of sunny Santa Barbara will have their chance to achieve new fitness goals with the Mayweather Boxing + Fitness gym. The gym will feature dynamic group classes and personal training based on techniques and training regimens developed over Floyd Mayweather’s historic boxing career.
The programs at Mayweather Boxing + Fitness are the first time Mayweather has shared his training techniques. The chain of gyms and workouts has gained popularity throughout the country, starting with the Los Angeles flagship location.
The initial concept of Mayweather Boxing + Fitness was driven by Floyd’s personal goal to share his expertise in fitness and training after a decades-long career in professional boxing. The gym welcomes people of all ages and fitness levels, and workouts provide functional training for anyone to get in the best shape of their lives. Classes consist of 6-8 circuit stations incorporating boxing movements and functional exercises that collectively can burn over 1,000 calories per class. Each class is fun, motivating and designed to give every person regardless of age or fitness level a great workout!
“After having been involved in the growth of the flagship store and franchising nationally, I’m excited we are bringing this high-intensity, effective workout to the Santa Barbara market,” said Alex English, Director of Sales & Operations of the Santa Barbara location. “Our goal is to always help our members achieve their personal fitness goals and instill an ‘Everyone is a champ’ type of mindset.”
