SCHEDULE:

10:30 am – Noon On-site Registration: $15 per dog, per race. ($10 per dog/per race before 6/28/17)
Welcome by Supervisor Joan Hartmann followed by Dog Demonstrations by specialty groups; then the “Dog Tricks” and “Dogs in Costume” competition.
1:15 p.m. National Anthem sung by Genéte Bowen and her lovely Dachshund Gretta
1:30 p.m. Dog Races Begin! (Prizes Will Be Awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Winners)
3:30 p.m. Awards Ceremony & Raffle Drawing
WHERE:
Ferrini Park, corner of Bell Street (Hwy 135) and Centennial Street in downtown Los Alamos
HOW MUCH:
Free admission for all spectators! On-site registration is $15 per dog, per race. ($10 per dog/per race before 6/28/17 by calling 805.895.4589)
WHAT ELSE?
~Raffle with generous gifts from local merchants (raffle tickets available on-site).
~Booths with items for sale including used books; local authors (Petrine Mitchum, Pete Healey, R. Lawson Gamble and more) for book purchases and signings.
~Dogs Unlimited will be on grounds and donate all nail trimming fees to the Los Alamos Public Library.
~Ponies & Paints will offer pony rides and face painting.
WHY?
All Bark for Books! proceeds benefit Friends of the Los Alamos Public Library, a (501c3) non-profit.
