The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara, announces another spectacular opportunity to indulge in the finer things in life while enjoying the beauty of the premier resort on the Gaviota Coast. The Meet the Makers event will be hosted at the new Cohiba Experience at Bacara, the first permanent Cohiba lounge in the US, on October 21st from 7-10 p.m. Guests will learn about the exceptional range of Cohiba cigars, gain insights into the intricacies of tobacco blends and have the opportunity to learn cigar cutting, lighting and pairing techniques. . The evening in the lounge’s stunning al fresco setting with panoramic views offers a one-of-a-kind experience, and will begin with an opening toast of Telmont Champagne from our friends with Louis XIII paired with a handcrafted Cohiba Connecticut cigar. Guests can relish in learning from those who have mastered their crafts: the best of the best in cigars, cocktails, truffles, and handmade luxury leather.

Meet Mike, founder of Twenty-Four Blackbirds Chocolate – Mike will curate a specialty truffle inspired by the heirloom tobacco plants he is growing locally, which will pair nicely with Cohiba cigars and the resort’s cocktail offerings.

Meet Adam Sandroni, Head bartender, Director, and Co-Cocktail Creator at Good Lion Hospitality, featuring Rémy Martin spirits – Watch Adam lead the group through a mixology experience and create a specialty cocktail offered only at the Cohiba Experience at Bacara. The evening ends with the toast of the exquisite luxury cognac Louis XIII by Rémy Martin paired with a Cohiba Spectre 2022 cigar.
