FREE, Monthly Garden Talks with UC Master Gardeners – Bare-Root Fruit Trees

The UC Master Gardeners of Santa Barbara County invite
you to join us for a free, online, Garden Talk on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 7PM. Master Gardener Janet Rogers will share a research-based presentation, “Bare-Root Fruit Trees”, to kick off the 2024 online Garden Talk series.
January is a great time of year to plant bare-root fruit trees. Janet will talk about the benefits of planting bare-root fruit trees, how to select varieties based on chill hours, soil, water requirements, and more. This presentation will help home gardeners enjoy the advantages of the diverse kinds of bare-root fruit trees available at this time of year.
