Downtown Live Summer Series: Katy Caballero

This week’s artist, Katy Caballero is an 18 year old singer, songwriter based in Santa Barbara. At 10 she started writing songs as an outlet and a way to express herself and since then has continued to grow. She released her first song (Not Not A Love Song) at age 13. With past experience of working with Joel Jacks for production, she produced “Good Enough for Me” on her own at age 15. Katy writes in hopes to speak to the next generation. To give them a voice. As a member of Girls Rock Santa Barbara she believes in equality and that no voice is too small or too young. She is currently attending BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC in Boston, MA & is studying Professional Music with a concentration in songwriting.
