Join us at Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara (MCASB) as we celebrate the opening of Bloom Projects: Genevieve Gaignard, Outside Looking In in the galleries and enjoy tunes by DJ DESKTOP, delicious drinks, and interactive art activities on the beautiful Paseo Nuevo Upper Arts Terrace. Bring your friends and be among the first to see Gaignard’s provocative explorations of race, class, and gender in photographs of her “selfie culture” self-performances and installations that combine humor, persona, and lowbrow pop sensibilities to craft dynamic visual narratives.
