CommUnify Announces 2-1-1 Celebration in Santa Maria

February 10 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm PST

Following the success of last year’s inaugural 2-1-1 Community Day Celebration, CommUnify’s Energy Services department is pleased to announce this year’s event in Santa Maria on Saturday, February 10, from 11:00am until 3:00pm at the Minami Community Center. Please see event flyer and press release attached for your convenience. As CommUnify serves residents countywide, the event location will alternate between North-, Mid-, and South-County each year, with 2024’s celebration to be held in Santa Maria for the first time.

Featuring more than 50 booths from community organizations, this event is FREE and open to the public. These organizations will be on hand to provide information and giveaways to attendees, and offer no-cost vaccines and health screenings for both children and adults. Entertainment includes a live radio broadcast with Lalo from 100.3 La Ley, along with fun kids’ activities, door prizes, and a free hot dog lunch for all attendees. There will even be free haircuts this year! VIP speakers and local representatives will also be on hand to lend their support.

Please contact me at 805-886-1869 or via email jkelly@CommUnifySB.org to request high-resolution images, or to arrange interviews with Patricia Keelean, Chief Executive Officer of CommUnify or Elisa Pardo, Associate Director of Community Services for CommUnify department. All media are encouraged to attend this event and advance coverage/previews and RSVPs would be greatly appreciated.
