We hope you can participate in the City of Goleta’s first Coffee and Community event this Saturday, January 21st from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Nectarine Park (Nectarine Ave. & Mandarin Dr.) in Old Town. This is a bilingual event with Spanish interpretation provided along with coffee and pastries.
Bring the family and invite your friends and join Mayor Paula Perotte, 2nd District City Councilmember James Kyriaco, City Manager Robert Nisbet and other Goleta staff members for coffee and conversation.
This is a great opportunity to:
• Meet your neighbors
• Connect with the City
• Get updated on projects in store for Old Town
• Ask questions
• Share ideas and concerns
• Get to know the City better
The goal is for residents to be able to present their questions, concerns, and topics important to them in a comfortable and informal setting so we can work together for the benefit of our community.
We hope you can join us for all or part of the morning. Opening remarks followed by a time for questions begins at 9:30 a.m.
Walk or bike if you can, parking is limited. We look forward to seeing you there!
The City plans to hold more of Coffee and Community Events throughout the city. For questions call or email the City’s Spanish Engagement Specialist Marcos Martinez at (805) 562-5500 or mmartinez@cityofgoleta.org.
