Cinco de Mosa Fundraiser

Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a C1 yoga flow in the backyard, mimosas, local fresh breakfast snacks and a community raffle in support of social entrepreneurs in Tanzania. Learn about what Impact Hub member Sarah Gemski is doing in collaboration with Mama Hope and Anza to help social entrepreneurs scale projects in clean water, healthcare, education and more in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania.

Mama Hope’s mission is to unlock human potential by taking a collaborative approach to global development. They provide training and funding to build locally-led, sustainable projects that impact partner communities worldwide while challenging mainstream perceptions of poverty.

Mama Hope is partnering with Anza, an organization on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania dedicated to providing training, networking and affordable funding opportunities to social entrepreneurs in Tanzania. Since 2009, Anza has worked with more than 750 social entrepreneurs and helped them create jobs and deliver necessary goods and services to underserved communities in Tanzania. Anza also developed the Kili Hub, a collaborative co-working space like the Impact Hub to promote partnership and training amongst social entrepreneurs in the region.
