Chemistry in the Kitchen Virtual Summer Camp

This virtual summer camp is designed to help campers gain confidence in the kitchen as well as learn what food science is all about. Campers will use math and reading skills in learning how to interpret and mise en place a recipe. Students will complete the menus and be empowered to make smart decisions regarding delicious food choices.
A list of ingredients and necessary kitchen supplies will be emailed to parents in advance. Chemistry in the Kitchen camp is designed to be interactive and fully hands-on with minimal adult supervision, but we will be using an oven and the stove at times!
Kids will receive a recipe card for every item that will be made, and at the end of the week they will receive a Certificate of Completion.

WEDNESDAY: Chemistry + Cookies= Delicious!
THURSDAY: No-Bake Brunch
FRIDAY: Mad Scientist! (Science Experiments with food)
