Known for its eclectic vendors, the outdoor fundraiser is the place to shop for specialty foods, handcrafted gifts, toys, plants, antiques, furniture, jewelry, clothing, and musical instruments, to name just a few of the treasures.
Vendor and Carpinteria High School graduate Jill (Stoyanoff) Johns will be selling her popular gifts from the sea creations. “What started out to be a summer project for myself and granddaughter, learning to wrap the sea glass making necklaces, earrings, greeting card and bags, plus fun art projects using Scrabble jumbled letters and sea glass on driftwood. Became a passion for me,” reported the artist.
The booth operated by the museum, Granny’s Attic, offers collectibles, vintage cameras, bric-a-brac, household items including quilts, kitchenware, chinaware, and much more with prices starting at 25 cents.
Admission is free to the Marketplace. Hot dogs, cold beverages, and snacks will be available for purchase. Musical entertainment includes Mavis Hansen and the Ukulele Jammers.
