There is an urgent need for all blood types and a severe shortage of O type blood. Donations benefit local patients needing lifesaving blood transfusions at hospitals in Santa Barbara County.
Good news- If you have been vaccinated for COVID-19 you CAN donate blood. There is no waiting period before giving blood.
