Through his legendary live events, numerous personal essay collections and regular contributions to the New Yorker and NPR’s This American Life, Sedaris has become one of today’s most beloved writers addressing the human condition. In 2019, he was elected into the American Academy of Arts and Letters and in 2020 the New York Public Library voted his book Me Talk Pretty One Day one of the 125 most important of the last 125 years.
