ALZHEIMER’S COMEDY INITIATIVE’S INAUGURAL COMEDY BENEFIT SHOW, “THERE’S NOTHING FUNNY ABOUT ALZHEIMER’S, EXCEPT THIS SHOW” THIS SUNDAY
The Alzheimer’s Comedy Initiative (ACI) of the Alzheimer’s Association, California Central Chapter is hosting its first ever Alzheimer’s benefit comedy show at the Scherr Forum Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Professional comedians include Fritz Coleman of KNBC-TV in Los Angeles, Randy Lubas of the Ventura Harbor Comedy Club, Karen Rontowski and Marty “The Wrinkled Rebel” Ross.
The show will be family-friendly. Magician Seth Backus will also perform prior to the show.

“My mother passed away from Alzheimer’s last year,” said ACI Founder and Chair and local Westlake Village resident Robert Wallace, MD, MBA. “I have always been interested in performing as a comedian, so when the time came to retire as a respected physician in the Westlake Village/Thousand Oaks area, I decided to get together with the Alzheimer’s Association and make my contribution with this benefit show.” Robert is joined by Co-Chair Rhory Kadish Lamboy.
