Internet Television Options

I’m fed up with the fees and recurring price increases from Cox Communications (seriously, why great deals for new customers while current customers keep getting gouged?). So I’m seriously considering closing it altogether, except for keeping the internet since we need it. I have a friend who has tried and likes Sling Tv (or any other internet television option) and I’m curious if any other edhat readers have tried it and what their thoughts are? Also, what speed or level of internet service would be needed for this?
