South Coast Business & Technology Honorees Announced for 2024

Sponsorships remain available for the June 11 awards ceremony.

Eight standout organizations and individuals will be honored during the 2024 South Coast Business & Technology (SCBT) Awards ceremony on June 11 at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort. The annual awards recognize innovation, leadership, and success in the area’s business and technology sectors. Net proceeds from the event will benefit the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara.

This year’s honorees include Zohar Ziv (Pioneer Award); Noozhawk (Excellence in Service); Jackie Carrera of the Santa Barbara Foundation (Executive of the Year); Tecolote Research (Company of the Year); Andrew Firestone and Jess Parker of StonePark Capital (Entrepreneurs of the Year); and Pearly and Rabbit (Rising Stars).

Sponsorships remain available for the June 11 SCBT Awards ceremony.

“The South Coast Business & Technology Awards ceremony is widely viewed as the region’s premier networking event, and proceeds benefit local college students,” said Scholarship Foundation President and CEO Melinda Cabrera. “Last year alone, our organization awarded an unprecedented 163 SCBT scholarships totaling $383,000. We invite local companies to be a part of this extraordinary annual celebration of business and technology excellence.”

More than 500 people attended last year’s awards ceremony. Serving as event co-chairs this year are Janet Garufis, chairman and CEO of Montecito Bank & Trust, and Matt Rowe, branch manager and vice president for wealth management at Raymond James in Santa Barbara.
