When Santa Barbara High School celebrated its 100th birthday in 1975, the Centennial Committee was the transition group that went on to form the present-day Santa Barbara High School Alumni Association.
The Santa Barbara High School Alumni Association’s vision is to partner with Santa Barbara High School through programs and services that foster Dons traditions, support our diverse community, and preserve a passion for life-long involvement with the school and our alumni.
When we began in 1975 our oldest member was Miss Pearl Chase from the class of 1904 and we had three members from the class of 1910. The Santa Barbara High School Alumni Association is pleased to announce the addition of four new board members. Minda Bittle ’93, Lia Garcia ’88, Shevon Hoover ’98, and Heidi Jensen Winston ’82, join us this Fall and bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the board. They will work on reunions, nominations, buildings and grounds, and the Distinguished Alum committees.
Currently the Alumni Association has over 4,500 alumni members. If you are a graduate of SBHS and would like to join the Alumni Association, please visit sbdonsalumni.com
