Santa Ynez Valley wine country Italian eatery and bar, S.Y. Kitchen (sykitchen.com), and sibling Los Olivos restaurant, Nella Kitchen & Bar (nellakitchen.com), have launched an online market with pre-orders available for pick-up as of Friday, January 1, 2021. The online market, accessed through the S.Y. Kitchen website, offers the restaurant’s house-made pasta and provisions, such as S.Y. Kitchen’s popular wild mushroom sauce; seasonal soups and special family meals; as well as a selection of pinsa from the Nella Kitchen & Bar menu.

S.Y. Kitchen market pasta types will rotate, as will other items depending on what might be available in the kitchen and from nearby farms. Scratch-made sauces will be sold in individually-sealed packets, with packages of freshly-grated Grana Padano also available for purchase. All house-made pastas are made with organic flour, organic durum wheat semolina, and farm-fresh eggs, and are presented in re-useable packaging.

S.Y. Kitchen’s online market will also offer 750ml bottled cocktails to-go, like the bar’s Cilantro Margarita, El Viejo (Del Maguey Vida Mezcal, Fresno chili, lime juice, pineapple, basil, sal de gusano), or the Valley Girl (Koskenkorva Vodka, St~Germain, lime, strawberry, basil).

Online market pre-orders will be available for pick-up Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. S.Y. Kitchen is located at 1110 Faraday Street, Santa Ynez, CA 93460. For more information, please visit sykitchen.com. Shoppers may also follow S.Y. Kitchen on Instagram @SYKitchen for further market announcements.
