Pico, in Los Alamos (www.losalamosgeneralstore.com), has launched a new Happy Hour promotion running Tuesday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at their Santa Ynez Valley restaurant, bar and retail wine bottle shop.

During the restaurant’s new Happy Hour, Chef John Wayne’s creative “Bites” section of Pico’s dinner menu is half-priced, scoring California Central Coast locals and travelers in-the-know items such as the Chef’s hand-cut truffle fries, his avvoltini (prosciutto-wrapped burrata, balsamic drizzle, sea salt), watermelon sashimi (pressed and pickled watermelon, house-made lebne, basil, tomato broth, togarashi), or Pico’s wild prawn cocktail with house-made brandy cocktail sauce, at Happy Hour prices as low as $4.00.

An off-menu Pico margarita – the bar’s take on the classic cocktail – is also on offer during Happy Hour by verbal “ask”, for just $7.00 per drink.

Happy Hour guests may enjoy their elevated bar nibbles and cocktails in Pico’s “backyard”, with its fruitful edible gardens, fire pit, and assorted seating areas, or indoors (indoor seating is at limited capacity per Santa Barbara County COVID guidelines).

Pico at the Los Alamos General Store is located at 458 Bell Street, Los Alamos, CA 93440. The Lumen Wines Tasting Lounge and Pico’s restaurant hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with Pico’s Happy Hour from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday. Free street parking is available. To reach Pico directly, please call 805.344.1122. Pico is online at www.losalamosgeneralstore.com@picolosalamos and facebook.com/losalamosgeneralstore.
