Quinn Fiduciary Services, a locally owned estate management firm, is delighted to announce the addition of licensed professional fiduciary, Shannon Dalton, to the company’s standout team.
Dalton has both professional and personal experience working to protect the wellbeing and assets of the elderly and their families. She previously worked as a licensed health and life insurance agent for Aflac, helping clients make the best decisions to protect their families and incomes. She also started her own insurance company, before taking a break to raise her two children.
Several years ago, Dalton became interested in the fiduciary profession after serving as a trustee and conservator for her grandfather, who passed away in 2017. She decided to study and take the licensing exam, and became a Licensed Professional Fiduciary last year. Her firsthand experience with her own family has provided Dalton with a unique perspective into the nuances and complexities of being a trusted fiduciary.
In addition to her license, Dalton holds a Certificate in Fiduciary Management from the University of California, Riverside, and is a member of the National Guardianship Association. She also has an M.B.A. from George Washington University, and received a B.S. in Communication Disorders and a B.A. in French from the Pennsylvania State University.
Prior to becoming a fiduciary, Dalton also worked in non-profit healthcare, and in education fundraising and development. She has lived all over the United States, including Alaska, and loves to read, cook, hike, and spend time with her children in the Santa Ynez Valley.
Quinn Fiduciary Services specializes in trust management and safeguarding the financial and general wellbeing of seniors and vulnerable adults. The firm’s licensed, professional fiduciaries help these challenged adults manage daily care, housing and medical needs, and also assist them with paying bills, managing investments, and other financial matters.
