Dr. Daniel Coulter Joins TheraMind Center of Santa Barbara

The TheraMind Center of Santa Barbara is pleased to announce that Dr. Daniel Coulter has joined the team of Board-certified psychiatrists and neurologists providing patient care at the TheraMind Center. Dr. Coulter received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Creighton University and did his psychiatric residency at Penn State University. In 2012 he was certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry. Dr. Coulter is also certified in the treatment of patients suffering from Major Depressive Disorder using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

Dr. Coulter treats adults and seniors as well as adolescents and is especially interested in treating patients suffering from major depression and anxiety disorders including Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Social Anxiety Disorder. Dr. Coulter also treats patients suffering from a variety of other behavioral issues including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), sleep disorders, insomnia and other mood disorders. He brings to the TheraMind Center a wealth of experience in treating patients in both in-patient hospital and outpatient treatment centers in the California Central Coast. Dr. Coulter is now accepting new patients.

The TheraMind Center of Santa Barbara is a unique outpatient clinic providing a combination of advanced diagnostic and neuroimaging technologies, cutting edge neuromodulation technologies including TMS, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), low level light therapy and PEMF. Our Board-certified medical professionals promote mental and neurological health through an integrative model designing individual treatment protocols for our patients. We work collaboratively as mutual referrals and adjuncts to local medical professionals to achieve the greatest benefit for our patients. We serve two primary demographics: (a) those suffering from depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD and other mood disorders and (b) chronic pain and migraines. We also treat a limited number of patients with traumatic brain injury, concussion or stroke who have not responded adequately to other therapies.
