Charley Egan has been elected to the board of directors of the Center for Successful Aging (CSA), it was announced by board president Bobbi Kroot. A Montecito resident, Egan is a real estate broker at Village Properties. A graduate of UC Santa Cruz, he also earned a Master’s at the University of Southern California.
Egan is a certified Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), a designation designed to help realtors meet the special needs of seniors by offering them the best options and information available when making life-changing decisions around real estate. For 20 years he has hosted educational seminars for “1st Time Home Buyers,” “Homeowners Facing Foreclosure”, and “Seniors and their Families.”
Along with his CSA board service, Egan is a volunteer at Hospice of Santa Barbara and has volunteered for Freedom 4 Youth and Homeboy Industries. He is a member of the Association of Senior Care Santa Barbara.
The Center for Successful Aging is a 501c (3) non-profit organization that provides education, emotional support, and personal services to seniors and their families.
