Casa Serena has an immediate job opening for a Program Assistant. The exceptional candidate will have passion for helping women in early recovery and possess the following skills:

*12-Step Knowledge * Effective Communication * General Computer Skills

* Healthy Boundaries *Flexibility * Sound Judgement *Manage Feedback

Major tasks for this position include:

Transporting residents to outside AA meetings
Providing office support to counselors and other staff
Phone interviews
Resident intakes and exits
Drug testing
Medication observation
Supervising resident appointments
Coordinating graduation dinners
Conducting room/car searches
Community referrals
Assisting residents to meet program requirements
Crisis management
Uphold and comply with House Responsibilities, Policies and Procedures

The Mission of Casa Serena is to provide effective treatment services and a safe, sober living environment to women suffering from the disease of alcoholism or who are addicted to alcohol and other drugs; to introduce them to the recovery philosophy of Alcoholics Anonymous and the 12-step process and to promote community awareness of Casa Serena.
