Barry Cappello and Leila Noël, partners in the Santa Barbara law firm Cappello & Noël LLP, were recently selected for inclusion in the 2021 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
Both attorneys were recognized for their legal skills in mass tort litigation and plaintiff class action representation. Since 1989, Cappello has been consecutively ranked as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” This is the second year that Noël has received the honor.
The firm is currently one of four law firms jointly representing plaintiffs in class actions against Plains All American Pipeline. The litigation stems from the 2015 Santa Barbara oil spill when more than 10,000 barrels of oil poured out of a Plains’ broken pipeline and into the Pacific Ocean.
