Apply for Funding

We invite community groups to apply for funding.

As a reminder, our Fall 2017 Grant Cycle is now open. Our two remaining free grant application workshops are coming up tomorrow and Thursday evenings in Santa Maria and Santa Barbara, respectively.

The Fund for Santa Barbara is a nonprofit community foundation that supports organizations working for social, economic, environmental and political change in Santa Barbara County. Since 1980, The Fund has awarded over $5 million to more than 1,000 projects.

A complete list of our Funding Guidelines and Application Materials is available on our website, as a word document and as a PDF document.

Funding applications must be returned before Friday, September 8th at 5:00 p.m.

To sign up for a free grant application workshop, please click here, call or email us at (805) 962-9164 or ERichardson@fundforsantabarbara.org; TDD / TTY via 711. These workshops are strongly recommended for all applicants and are open to anyone who wants to learn more about the Fund for Santa Barbara and our application process.
