I am experiencing an ongoing issue with drivers partially blocking the driveway. Can I tow the vehicle myself, or do I have to call the cops? Thanks in advance!

Have you talked with them? I would try this if you have not. Calling the police for such matters is a bit of a wasted resource, and calling the parking enforcement won’t help. They can’t do anything other than write a citation, which won’t help your situation and may just make it worse. I live 2 blocks from the heart of downtown and deal with city college kids, shoppers, diners, and people going out to drink. Parking enforcement is a problem for us that live downtown. I feel your pain! Try to be ‘neighborly’ about it, if that fails, give them 3 chances, then start doing things like block your own drive way. put trash cans in the way. start leaving notes on their car, then if that fails…move up to tactics that would make them NOT want to park there. my catbox comes in handy for these situations lol
The reason I believe it is illegal for even your own driveway has to do with fire department access. Is that correct?
