With the amount of tail-gating, every hour of every day, it’s a minor miracle that there aren’t more of these. I will pull over on non-freeway roads, change lanes or even pull off the freeway if absolutely necessary. I drive at the speed my lane is traveling or choose another one that is the speed I want to travel. It’s not just young drivers or aggressive male drivers. A lot of drivers have no idea how long it takes to stop at different speeds. (25 years of no h.s. driver’s ed?)
