UCSB students celebrated their hard work from Fall 2018 Quarter’s Urban Art Workshop by unveiling a new mural.
The class is taught by artist Andrew Morrison and this quarter they completed a mural on the side of The Tahitian Apartments at 6739 El Colegio which is managed by the Ventura Investment Co.
Artists, students, the management company, and other community members talked about the process of the mural and the impacts on the Isla Vista community during an unveiling on Tuesday afternoon.
The Urban Art Workshop is sponsored by the UCSB University & Community Housing Services (UCHS), Isla Vista Arts, and Ventura Investment Co.
