I set off the smoke alarm every time I char poblanos and jalapenos on the stove for salsas. Nobody ever called the cops.
They . . . LEFT . . . their . . . dog . . . BEHIND? Utterly shameful. Disgraceful. Unconscionable. Any dog deserves a better home than that.
About 30 years ago one on our daughters got me a magnet for the stove, “Dinner is ready when the smoke alarm goes off.”
