I moved to the Valley and wanted to share some photos of the area. The historic windmill in Solvang (above), and we rode bicycles on Highway 154 with no traffic because of the road closure.
We were able to ride our bikes to Lake Cachuma. Can’t do that any other time unless the roads closed because of heavy traffic!
Yurts have a fantastic view of Lake Cachuma.
Have some snow above the lake.

What a special treat to have access to the whole road to safely ride to the lake. Thank you for the pictures, they may inspire others to take the trip while it’s possible.
