I am frustrated about how much crime is generated by repeat “performers”. I’d oppose just hanging the S.O.*s –evildoers–to prevent the damage they will continue do in their lifetime since their recidivism shows they’ve decided to make it a profession, but what then? Putting them in jail for life makes no sense and besides it’s too expensive. Long ago, England sent that type of criminal to Australia to be done with them. Maybe turn a couple of counties in eastern Ohio or W.V. where they’ve already ruined the area into a no-honor farm w/a mine field around it? (I know that’s not feasible or rational, but as I said, I’m frustrated and can’t think of a good answer.)
God, I hate guns! HATE them. They can amount to no good. I wish NO ONE had them anywhere.
If we had prisoner road crews laying asphalt and beating weeds in our backcounty, recidivism would come to a screeching halt. Again, thank the ACLU.
