At approximately 9:00 a.m. this morning, April 23, 2019, members of the Santa Barbara County Sheriff Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant service in the 600 block of W. Morrison Ave in the City of Santa Maria. During the search, detectives recovered approximately five pounds of methamphetamine, four ounces of cocaine, three ounces of black tar heroin, $7,000 in cash and a stolen 9mm handgun.
As part of the investigation, detectives arrested 24-year-old Filogencio Mendoza Diaz of Santa Maria. Diaz is suspected of being an associate of a local criminal street gang. He was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail for a variety of felony charges. His bail was set at $100,000, however he is being held on a no bail probation detainer.
Ain’t that the sad truth.
Hooray for sanctuary cities and one of the worst education systems in the country. We are ranked 42 out of 50. No bueno.
You can always move.
No problem Filogencio you are in a Sanctuary state with no vacancy in it’s jails and prisons.
Well, at least they are getting those drugs off the street.
Did they call him “Fifi” in school with a name like that?
Fifi is now a big loser and needs to make bail. Hah!
You all? I’m just fed up of seeing these thugs act like they have no choice even though they DO have every hand out you can possibly think of (think free housing, food, school, clothes, health care, dental, job training etc.) yet they still choose to live a life a crime…yea that gets pretty “tiresome”. Maybe you should take him home since you seem to be so concerned.
