If the city plants trees in the street parkways, why don’t they also trim them? I have a jacaranda tree that desperately needs trimming, and I can’t afford to have it done myself. Advise appreciated.

One more city service for residents short-changed in order to pay off city employee perks and pensions.
We have tree tyranny in this town – property owners get severely punished if they want to deal with troublesome trees on their own property at their own expense while the city ignores its problem-causing street trees with impunity. Tree ordinances and the draconian tree czar position needs city council and public review – reassess its application over the past decade or so. We share the goal; but the execution has too many built-in and onerous problems for all concerned.
Dude, you gotta request for services to get them. Mind reading is not a service most cities offer. Smh.
Dude, you folks on the right keep demanding that public employees do more with less then complain when the deferred list backlog gets longer and longer. But hey, what do I know… I don’t have Hannity, Carlson and Dobbs telling me what to be outraged by.
