I am attaching some photos I took of the Amgen Men’s Stage 5 finish and women’s Stage 1 finish in Ventura Thursday afternoon.
Women’s winner, Anna van der Breggen
The women’s race for second place. The woman with the yellow bike, Elisa Balsamo took second.

American cyclist Tejay van Garderen and Dutch cyclist Anna van der Breggen are the current leaders and wear the yellow jerseys after Thursday’s races.

These lawbreaking cyclists in their lycra outfits were surrounded by CHP units, some with sirens blaring, yet they refused to pull over. As a law-abiding car driver, I am shocked by the blatant disregard for respect of the law that these pedal-pushers displayed – even in front of crowds of fans with children!
