Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to a 1/4 to 1/2 acre fire off Foxen Canyon Road near Sisquoc on Monday morning.
Around 6:00 a.m. crews responded for a reported brush fire near Foxen Canyon Road and Tepusquet Road. Responding firefighters found a 1/4 acre of brush burning at a slow rate of speed.
At 7:00 a.m., all other resources were cancelled as crews on the scene suppressed and surrounded the fire.
The total burned area is estimated to be 1/4 to 1/2 acre. There were no structures threatened and the cause is under investigation.
