Edhat and Santa Barbara Pet Sitters have teamed up to bring you a FUNdraising and Adoption event at Carr winery for Spark Rescue called Wine & Woofs!
Join us on the patio from 5-7 pm to meet adoptable pets and play pet trivia for a chance to win a wine tasting for two from Carr Winery. The event will take place Wednesday, July 24th and you’re encouraged to bring your pet for some ‘Yappy Hour” fun and socialization! Dog snacks and water will be provided for pets. All pet must be leashed.
Spark Rescue a non-profit 501c (3) charity organization whose focus is finding permanent homes for at-risk animals from high-kill shelters in California.
The founder, Susan Park, says, “Every person who opens up their home to a dog is a lifesaver. Fostering a dog is easier than you think and more important than you can imagine. By sharing your home & love for a few weeks with a rescue dog, you can help them transition from a stressful & scary shelter environment to a future loving forever home. Being part of that transition is one of the most rewarding experiences a person can have.” Spark Rescue of Santa Barbara is a foster-based rescue that relies on volunteers, as well as, donations to save the lives of animals that would have otherwise been put down in a high kill shelter.

With a combined experience of over 10 years in the professional pet care business, Sunny Key & Tracy Mongold are the owners of Santa Barbara Pet Sitters & Adventure Dog Walkers. Under his supervision, only the finest grapes enter the winery in downtown Santa Barbara, ensuring that Carr wines continue to exemplify and set the standard for Santa Barbara County’s diverse array of microclimates and terroirs. Guests can visit either of Carr Winery’s two locations for wine tastings, wines by the glass, and wine on tap: the winery in downtown Santa Barbara and the warehouse in Santa Ynez.
