On August 28, 2019, Santa Barbara Police Department Narcotics Detectives working in conjunction with the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office Intelligence Deputies received information regarding a local methamphetamine dealer identified as Santa Barbara resident David Jimenez, age 42.
Earlier this week, Jimenez was arrested for DUI while riding a motorcycle. Jimenez was booked at Santa Barbara County Jail for DUI, and the motorcycle was impounded to a tow yard in Buellton.
Through a collaborative investigative effort between Santa Barbara Police Detectives and Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office Deputies it was determined Jimenez had hidden a large amount of methamphetamine on his motorcycle prior to his DUI arrest.
A search warrant was obtained and upon serving the warrant, detectives located approximately 5.6 ounces of methamphetamine under the seat of Jimenez’ motorcycle. Jimenez was charged with 11378 H/S Methamphetamine Possession for Sales and 11379 H/S Methamphetamine Transportation.
Wasted life. Too bad. Really sad. This dude has the good looks (unlike the typical meth dealers) to have been a movie star.
If he was caught in the Philippines, he be dead within 12 hours- ZERO tolerance for drug dealers, especially meth.
