SB Police caught a big fish, a vehicle thief who took a car by force on Armitos street in Goleta. The subject is a female who has 3 warrants out for her arrest. On top of all that she just committed a theft at Paseo Nuevo but when she noticed the police behind her she pulled over.

Murders, shootouts, suicidal fatal car crashes taking others down, grand theft auto, plus cold hard cash lifted from a shopping center ..in just one week ….has life in this town become a worst nightmare video game? What happened people. This is not my generation’s version of the good life. Why is it anyone recipe for life in Santa Barbara?
More people = more problems. There has always been crime in Santa Barbara and now it’s escalating, thanks to too many people plus illegals and meth and on and on.
Bull Manure there has always been crime more violent in past decades UNLESS thee powers that Be are hiding the TRUTH than maybe there is more now.
A lot of it is because of thorough media attention, it’s in our faces a LOT more than it was 20, 30, 40 years ago. Crime is down compared to “your generation”, and consistently falling (especially violent crime). One bad week does not make a generational trend. Mental health is another story.
