The Lompoc Police Department is investigating a shooting on Monday that injured a juvenile.
The incident took place at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the 500 block of North L/M alley. Roger the Scanner Guy reported the incident as a possible drive-by shooting.
The investigation revealed the wounded teenager had already been transported to Lompoc Hospital’s ER by a family member for a gunshot wound. The patient was then transported to another hospital by helicopter and was last known to be in stable condition.
Officers and Detectives worked to collect evidence and statements but anyone else with information is asked to contact the Lompoc Police Department.
