Today, at approximately 4:28 p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a 911 call for a robbery that had just occurred in the 900-block of Embarcadero Del Mar in Isla Vista. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his late20’s or early 30’s wearing a hooded sweatshirt and jeans. The suspect was armed and took an undisclosed amount of money from the register of the business and was last seen running towards Del Playa.

It seems nearly every crime involves a suspect wearing a hoody. We should ban hoodies to reduce crime.
