Sheriff Investigates Indecent Exposure on Cathedral Oaks

On Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 4:08 p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 6800-block of Cathedral Oaks Road to investigate a report of suspect associated with a white van that had just exposed himself to a juvenile walking in the area. The suspect left the area prior to deputies arriving. 

The 17-year-old victim told deputies that she was walking eastbound on Cathedral Oaks when she noticed a Hispanic male between 30-50 years old, with stubble facial hair exit a white van and proceed to expose himself to her.

The victim ran from the area and the suspect drove away, westbound on Cathedral Oaks. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect or vehicle. The suspect vehicle is described as an older model white Ford van. Another witness reported seeing the van near La Patera Lane at Cathedral Oaks Road just prior to the incident.

A male exposed himself to a juvenile female near Cathedral Oaks at La Patera in Goleta. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult (HMA) with mustache driving an old van, it last seen Westbound on Cathedral Oaks.
