Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to reports of a downed aircraft in the Los Padres National Forest northeast of Ogilvy Ranch.
The calls were received around 2:00 p.m. Saturday when the fire department responded with Air Support Helicopter 308.
The small aircraft was located on the ridgeline near the ranch and they were unable to locate a patient believed to be injured.
Copter 308 flew to the ranch and asked employees if there was any information. Employees stated that near 10:30 a.m. an aircraft went down and an injured patient arrived at the ranch. The patient was then flown by private aircraft from the air field at the ranch to the Santa Ynez Airport and was taken to the hospital. The patient was reportedly discharged from the hospital.
Copter 308 returned to the crash location and disabled the electronic locator beacon on the aircraft before contacting FAA who is now investigating.

Aircraft down, Northeast of the Ogilvy Ranch. Looks to be a small plane, unsure of any injuries. Any more info?
More like something smells very skunky. Clearly there is a lot of air traffic at this particular spot. Maybe that’s where they fly the strippers in for the Vistadores…. Or fly the “ product” in and out?
Did they get one of the county’s coveted permits? Or could they be grand-fathered in under the clumsy Das Rules? If what you hint is true.
Something smells very fishing-hopefully hospital took full blood samples
yes, plane crashes are always “fishy” this thing called gravity is so unheard of an mysterious. hopefully the hospital doesnt “fall” for the ruse of an “accident”. tin foil hat is too tight.
