Gia arrived in Santa Barbara from Palmdale on Monday.
This sweet little lady is believed to be an 8 year old Chihuahua mix. She loves to give shelter staff lots of kisses and love, just a total sweeheart.
Gia wound up in the shelter because after had been hit by a car, but her wound has been treated and sterilized. Gia is looking for a Good Samaritan to help her out because she is either diabetic or is having stressed induced diabetes as well as suffering from an upper respritory infection to give her a chance at living a normal life.
