Santa Barbara Featured on Great Food Truck Race

Avocado recipes will be among those featured on this week’s episode of The Great Food Truck Race, which pays a visit to Santa Barbara on the Food Network. The time will be at 6 and/or 9 pm Thursday, April 16, depending on your TV signal carrier.
The program is a contest in which seven food truck teams compete against each other to see who can sell the most (and best) food. Chef Tyler Florence is in charge. The Great Food Truck Race last came to Santa Barbara in 2014. A side trip to Solvang during that visit was disrupted by a police shootout with a kidnapper a block from the filming location. That was edited out of the program.
