A local realtor started with a simple plan to help the elderly with goods and essentials, that he would buy and deliver for them. Now it’s grown to outreach to help the homeless.
The project was started by Adam Mckaig. He asked on Facebook if anyone needed items while he was at the store, especially the elderly and most vulnerable.
He had several requests, and friends told friends. Within a day or two, there was a delivery and a big sigh of relief. McKaig graciously accepts cash for the items, but if someone doesn’t have the means, he covers it.
Now dubbed Adam’s Angels, the group is using the EOS nightclub as a “command post” for donations and packaging before they head out.
