Following the long-lasting spring rains, the ground is saturated with the Santa Ynez river flowing nicely into Lake Cachuma. At 80% of its capacity, it is only 14 feet below its spill level. It’s terrific to see such a lovely sight.

Great news. How’s the fishing there? I think I’ve only been there twice in the past 20 years, but I would like to figure out how to fish and wondering that’s a good spot.
